Sensory Integration

Specialised therapy for children whose nervous systems struggle to process sensory input — helping them engage with the world more comfortably.

Overview

What is Sensory Integration?

Sensory Integration therapy is based on the pioneering work of Dr. A. Jean Ayres. It addresses the brain's ability to receive, organise, and respond to sensory information from the environment and from the child's own body.

Children with sensory processing difficulties may be overwhelmed by ordinary sensations or may constantly seek intense sensory input. SI therapy helps the nervous system process these sensations more efficiently, reducing distress and improving daily functioning.

01

Sensory Profile Assessment

Dr. Prasoon uses standardised tools including the Sensory Profile to identify exactly how your child processes each sensory system: tactile, vestibular, proprioceptive, auditory, and visual.

02

Personalised Sensory Diet

A sensory diet is a daily plan of sensory activities designed to keep your child's nervous system regulated throughout the day — at home, in school, and in public.

03

SI-Based Therapy Activities

Structured activities using swings, textured materials, balance boards, and specialised equipment help the brain organise sensory input more effectively.
